On an extraordinary night, music and art lovers gathered at Majalis Al-Maqam Café to attend a unique artistic event titled “Sounds Seen,” organized by Wadi Benjabi for Culture and Arts. The event hosted a group of rising blind artists who mesmerized the audience with enchanting musical performances that touched their hearts.
The evening witnessed a remarkable turnout of art and music enthusiasts who came to enjoy melodies and tunes that transcended the barriers of sight, affirming that creativity knows no limits. The blind artists, who gave exceptional performances on various musical instruments, demonstrated an extraordinary ability to convey their emotions to the audience through music, proving that true vision relies not on sight but on the feeling of the heart.
It is worth noting that this event marked the public debut of artists Mohamed Ladan, Mohamed Assiri, Mohamed Housa, Khalil Jafari, and Abdulaziz Houssawi, accompanied by artists Bilal Benjabi and Anas Adib.
At the beginning of the event, the organizer, representing “Wadi Benjabi for Culture and Arts,” praised the creative spirit of the blind artists, emphasizing that this evening is part of efforts to support young artists and talents that deserve a chance to shine. In his speech, he added: “This event is a message that art is a universal language, and the voices we hear tonight see farther than the eyes can.”
The audience enthusiastically responded to the diverse musical performances, as the artists showcased their mastery of musical instruments and delivered songs that touched the hearts of those present.
It is noteworthy that “Wadi Benjabi for Culture and Arts” consistently organizes cultural and artistic events aimed at supporting young artists and highlighting their talents.
